Dear Friends of Wilbur ,

Spring has sprung at Wilbur.  Th e wildflowers are spectacular and this is the most vegetation we have had at Wilbur in my 33 years of bathing in its waters.  Speaking of bathing I never, ever shower Wilbur's water off my body until I return to the outside world.  While at Wilbur, I just do my best to shower  certain parts of me  and l et  the minerals  stay  on the rest of my body to do their work.  Next time you see me , look at my skin.  Of course my smooth condition could be genetic but I think the water has contributed significantly.  June says my skin is as smooth and soft as Dr. Bovar's ear (he is our dog), which is quite a distinction.  Smooth as a dog ' s ear!

Next weekend is another first at Wilbur.  For those wanting Wilbur plus food served , there is another Guest Chef Week end  (GCW) on April 29-30 with the  popular  chef/teacher Charlie Cas c io ( see  www.wilburhotsprings.com/guestchef.htm for photos and Charlie's past menus ) coming to us from Big Sur.  For those wanting Yoga, we are again hosting Thomas Michael Fortel ( www.yogawiththomas.com ) coming to us from the Esalen Institute.  So you can have your Yoga and eat at Wilbur ,  or have your gourmet healthy food and do your own Wilburizing -- your choice!

Proud parents flash (PPF): after appearing on the cover of the January national issue of Yoga 4 Us, my raised - at - Wilbur daughter, Sarana, is featured in this month ' s Yoga Journal.  Her parents bask in the light of her aura.  Sarana will be leading a Yoga retreat at Wilbur June 3-5.  Since I am called a shrink ,  it is so lovely to have a stretch in the family.

I look forward to any and all of your responses,

With love for you one and all,

Richard
