THE WILBUR PHILOSOPHY
Sustaining Wilbur Hot Springs Hotel and Preserve as the perfect place to relax.

A FREE FORM RETREAT
Wilbur Hot Springs is a free-
form retreat, unobstructed by structure or dogma, self-
directed by mutual respect,
and is the creation of everyone who comes here. In short, it's organic."—RD

TIME TO SLOW DOWN
"I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright."
— Henry David Thoreau
Recharging is an essential component to the quality of life. The pressure to live up to ideals of productivity and achievement can tether us to a treadmill of busyness. What if you unplugged from your cell, your networks, your to-do list and your schedule? Could you allow yourself a little extra sleep?
|
Time after time, our guests tell us they find Wilbur to be a sanctuary for repose, reflection and rejuvenation. We invite you to pause... step back... take a breath. Listen to your internal rhythm. Give yourself permission to do nothing...

NOTES FROM THE CARETAKER
Dear Friends of Wilbur:
Health Happy New Year! New Year's weekend at Wilbur was, as always, wonderful. Wilbur continuously provides opportunities to talk with interesting people.
I met a former world class motorcycle racer who stayed in Franklin's Retreat (aka the Dog House), an executive with Blend Tech, my favorite blender for making my morning smoothie, Mary of Mary's Gone Crackers, which I eat every day, and many more.

The gourmet food, created by guest chef Charlie Cascio and team, was a gastronomic delight. The feelings in the air were pure love and good will.

You may recall that I am designing a week long (Sunday-Friday) Wilbur Health Seminar which will be patterned after the program I designed for my nationally successful Cokenders Alcohol and Drug Program. With this newsletter I am assembling a list of those of you interested in attending the first Wilbur Health Seminar which will focus on a combination of psychophysical fitness, immune system strengthening, and weight loss. The components of the health program will include: Group process, Yoga. Balneology, MedItation, journal writing, exercise and nutrition.
Please send me an email at DrRichardLMiller@Gmail.com to obtain an application for the first health seminar.
Look forward to talking with you at Wilbur. Please say hello when you see me. I am the very tall guy with the smiling heart.
Richard
