NOTES FROM THE CARETAKER

Dear Friends of Wilbur:

2012 is an eventful year at Wilbur Hot Springs, and the March 30th Guest Chef Weekend is especially significant for many reasons.

As many of you may know, Richard and Ezzie Davis are retiring after 23 years of loyal, dedicated service, and this will be their last Guest Chef Weekend as Wilbur’s General Managers. We will be toasting to their futures, but never saying goodbye, for they will remain our close friends forever. We will also be taking this weekend to welcome Wilbur’s new General Managers, Michael and Monica Van Hall, who will officially begin their tenure on April 1st 2012, and this will be their first Guest Chef Weekend.

Richard and Ezzie leave behind a dedicated and much appreciated staff, most of whom have been with them for many years, and whom Michael and Monica will be the fortunate beneficiaries of.

In addition to being a part of this transition for Wilbur, I invite you to celebrate both my birthday weekend as well as the 40th anniversary of my serving as Wilbur's Caretaker.

We look forward to commemorating this milestone with old and new friends as the management torch is passed from GMs Richard and Ezzie to GMs Michael and Monica, and as I enter my 5th decade of service to you all.
