| GENERAL ITEMS Remembering when taking the waters at Wilbur Hot Springs that clothing is optional behind the screened area, guests bring a robe and slippers or shoes which are easily slipped in and out of. Towels are a must. Bring some warm clothing for winter and cool summer evenings. A flashlight is always handy. Things for fun could include: bicycles, non electric musical instruments, books and writing materials...and of couse a sense of humor. KITCHENGuests cook their own meals in our commercially-equipped kitchen. Bring all the groceries you need including liquids, oil, vinegar, honey, sugar, garlic, etc. We provide dry spices, cookware, utensils and dishes.One of the pleasures of Wilbur Hot Springs is its special waters. Our delicious drinking water comes from filtered spring reserves and is rich in minerals. bottled H2O is also sold in the Country Store. BUNK ROOM GUESTSBring your own top bedding. We provide bottom sheets and pillows with cases only. Weekend or holiday Bunk Room guests, bring a cooler to place in kitchen. PLEASE NOTE: PETSAs much as we love them, they don't always understand and respect the privacy and quiet others are looking for here. It's not their fault so please save them the embarrassment by leaving them at home. ELECTRONIC DEVICESIn keeping with our positive, proactive approach to conservation, and with an awareness of our Stewardship of the environment, Wilbur is powered by Solar Power. We take pride in our measures to keep power consumption low. We use automatic motion sensor light switches in the bathrooms and compact fluorescent lighting throughout the hotel. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in turning lights off when not in use and not bringing any items requiring additional power consumption. You may of course, use laptop computers, portable stereos with headphones and other convenience devices with power you have provided. Common size batteries are sold in the Wilbur Country Store. Cell phones do not work in this area.
